An annual student awards assembly is held each year in May, and awards are given to
students who have done well in the past school year.
Academic awards are given to underclassmen who have the highest averages in geography
and biology. Certificates of Excellence and Certificates of Superior Achievement are
awarded to all students who were on the Honor Roll and the High Honor Roll during each
grading period of the school year. Certificates and seals are awarded to juniors and
seniors who were elected to the National Honor Society.
Seniors are eligible for the following special awards:
